
ROV Pilot Technician
Responsibilities:
-
To take lead in mobilization/ demobilization.
-
To understand ROV tools and its system operations.
-
To actively involved in system maintenance in workshop/ onboard vessel.
-
To prepare report on equipment status.
-
To keep track of piloting log book.
-
To do inventory on system maintenance.
-
To plan maintenance schedules.
-
To have knowledge on offshore safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.
-
To perform other related activities and special projects when required or assigned.
Qualification:
-
Must hold relevant certification for the position IMCA or equivalent.
-
Diploma/ Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
-
Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an ROV Pilot Technician Grade 1.
-
Minimum of 6 months’ experience as an ROV Pilot Technician on D.P vessel
Job Requirements:
-
Malaysian.
-
Preferably those/individuals experienced in handling work class ROV.
-
Valid offshore medical (MPM).
-
Able to work with minimal supervision.
-
Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
-
Meticulous attention to detail.
-
Proactive and positive work attitude
