ROV Pilot Technician

Responsibilities:

  • To take lead in mobilization/ demobilization.

  • To understand ROV tools and its system operations.

  • To actively involved in system maintenance in workshop/ onboard vessel.

  • To prepare report on equipment status.

  • To keep track of piloting log book.

  • To do inventory on system maintenance.

  • To plan maintenance schedules.

  • To have knowledge on offshore safety standards and maintain a safe working environment.

  • To perform other related activities and special projects when required or assigned.

 

Qualification:

  • Must hold relevant certification for the position IMCA or equivalent.

  • Diploma/ Degree in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an ROV Pilot Technician Grade 1.

  • Minimum of 6 months’ experience as an ROV Pilot Technician on D.P vessel 

 

Job Requirements:

  • Malaysian.

  • Preferably those/individuals experienced in handling work class ROV.

  • Valid offshore medical (MPM).

  • Able to work with minimal supervision.

  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.

  • Proactive and positive work attitude
