​Responsibilities: 

• To develop, analyse, record solutions related ROV and subsea equipment problem during the product implementation.

• To conduct research, design and produce products based on the current technologies in the market

• To ensure designed tooling and equipment is being maintained regularly

• To provide support during mobilisation and demobilisation as and when required

• To understand the company’s quality standard on the product manufactured

• To provide support and carry out workshop activities during building of ROV system

• To perform other related activities and special projects when required or assigned

• Basic Electrical & Electronics

  • Wiring knowledge

  • SMD component soldering

  • Troubleshooting circuits and fault finding

  • Usage of Multimeter

• Basic Computer Knowledge

  • Networking Knowledge

  • Troubleshooting and repair

  • Microsoft Windows knowledge

• Basic Fiber Optics

  • Testing and termination

• Basic Mechanical

  • Mechanical equipment assembly

  • Understand effects of forces and pressure

  • Usage of hand tools

  • Basic understand of hydraulic fittings

• Advance Electronics

  • Usage of oscilloscope

  • Design of electrical and electronics circuits

  • PCB Design

  • Conduct inspection on electrical & electronic assemblies

• Advance Computer Knowledge

  • Software C++ programming

  • Microcontroller programming

• Advance Mechanical

  • Usage of SolidWorks or similar CAD

  • Conduct inspection on mechanical assemblies

 

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering

• Experience in oil and gas industries will be an added advantage

• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in Research and Development

• Strong problem solving skills

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Meticulous and attention to detail

• Proactive and positive work attitude
