​Responsibilities: 

• To prepare monthly financial performance report for management

• To prepare management accounts

• To prepare tax related documents (i.e. tax computation, tax estimate, tax submissions)

• To prepare financial forecast

• To prepare yearly statutory financial statement and liaise with external auditor

• To perform other related activities and special projects when required or assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/ Finance

• Professional qualifications ACCA/ICAEW/CPA/MICPA

• Experience in upstream oil and gas industries

• Strong knowledge of financial reporting practices and procedures. Familiarity in Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (“MFRS”) and Malaysian Private Reporting Standards (“MPERS”)

 

Job Requirements: 

• A minimum of 7-8 years’ experience in audit and accounting

• SME background

• Knowledge in treasury will be an added advantage

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, i.e.: Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• Able to work with minimal supervision

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

• Meticulous attention to detail

• Proactive and positive work attitude
